Post Incident Report

At 3:42pm a degradation of service was detected by our monitoring and escalated to our MNOC team.

After investigation, we could see there was a core network routing issue, the problem was escalated to our Data Centre provider and we were informed that a network BGP re-route had occurred and took longer then expect for the new routes to be learned throughout the whole network and this is what caused the outage.
